The Heart of Prayer

Many talk about the "Power of Prayer", how to pray to get more out of life, how to pray "the prayer" that will get more out of God. But most of these modern takes on prayer are totally contrary to God's intentions for prayer.

If you're like a lot of people, you may in the first place find it challenging to pray, to "discipline" yourself to prayer and to know how to pray.

In Matthew 6:5-6, Jesus points us to what prayer is really about - the heart of prayer. Compared to the showy performances that others make when it comes to prayer, Jesus' few words in these verses point to a great secret.
