Preaching That Doesn't Skip the Hard Parts
Verse by verse. Precept by precept.
In a world full of noise, we let Scripture speak — straight.
Why This Matters
Most preaching today is either a glorified pep talk or is the preacher's own talking points - just using Scripture to try to back up what he thinks. It doesn't let the Bible speak! And so often, it's shallow and a surface reading of the same old points again and again.
Is that really what God intended of His Word?
What if the Bible was never meant to be skipped around with some proof-texts and back-up points that don't challenge people to help them grow up in Christ?
The world's greatest thinkers and most renowned Christians and preachers have explored the Bible for thousands of years and still said they could never plumb its depths. So why is it that in most churches we get a shallow reflection?
What if hearing the depth of what God has to say instead challenged our beliefs, our faith and our lives to be in alignment with God's will and the actual teaching of Jesus, The Apostles and The Prophets - not just what we THINK His Word says?
What if we need to hear the whole counsel of God, not just the parts that make us feel good?
At Living Waters Church of God, we practise systematic expository preaching - letting the Bible speak, by preaching in-depth from the Scriptures every service.
-
We don’t skip the hard parts.
-
We preach through the Bible verse by verse.
-
We let God speak for Himself.
-
And we do it by considering the WHOLE Bible, not just the bits we prefer or that fit someone else's theology.
As Jesus repeated, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." — Matthew 4:4; Deuteronomy 8:3
A Global Gap — And Why It Matters
With the recent retirement and passing of respected long-time expositional preachers, the global Church has lost some of its most courageous voices in deep, faithful, book-by-book teaching.
But the hunger remains.
And the next generation is starving for depth. We see it again and again in movements around the world.
-
❌ They’re not looking for hype.
-
❌ They’re not looking for cultural compromise.
-
✅ They’re looking for truth — and voices they can trust.
Sadly, in this context there are many who pretend to present the truth. There are whole traditions that purport to be the genuine authority. But start to examine them even remotely and you will soon see that they teach the traditions of men, of contemporary society, of secular voices, even of other religions, of New Age philosophies, of conspiracies and cultural movements - not the authoritative voice of God.
We're not doing dial-a-doctrine.
Everything is rooted in the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God. And it is rooted in both the Old and the New Testaments, from Genesis to Revelation - the whole counsel of God.

Is There Really a Need for This Today?
Yes!
Right now, millions of Christians around the world are searching YouTube, TikTok, and podcasts looking for something deeper.
But very few are finding systematic, full-book biblical teaching they can trust.
At Living Waters Church of God, we’re building something different.
Not big. Not flashy.
Just faithful.
