We heartily recommend the following column regarding the Christianity of Queen Elizabeth II, written by former Bishop Tom Wright. Tom Wright is renowned in the Christian evangelical world. As both a bishop and a former member of the House of Lords, he personally knew the Queen, observed her on numerous occasions and was witness to her activity in relation to others and to the realms of the Commonwealth.
He writes here how she followed her King, Jesus Christ, and comments,
"Everything ... she did... was shaped and coloured by her being first and foremost a follower of Jesus."
